Is Coaching, Hypnotherapy or Breathwork Right for Me?

I often get asked, “Who gets a personal coach or hypnotherapist? Who is your practice designed for?”

Coaching, hypnotherapy and breathwork are for everyone. All human beings have a limiting factor.  If you don’t think you have one, I’d ask you to do an honest self-appraisal. There are also men and women who wish to challenge themselves by getting out of their comfort zone of their status quo so they can grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Today, people from all walks of life have a personal life coach.  Thousands of people have personal trainers. Why not have a coach who covers more than one modality? A coach who has a more holistic approach and focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, intuitive, and spiritual aspects of one’s life.

There are several indications that working with a life coach and/or hypnotherapy could be helpful for you. Here are a few:

·       Persistent feelings of dissatisfaction at work

·       Feeling unfulfilled, frustrated, like something’s missing

·       Lack of self-esteem

·       High levels of stress and anxiety

·       Self-doubt

·       Lack of confidence

·       Inability to break bad habits

·       Letting fear keep you from doing things you want

·       Lack of fulfillment in your social life

·       Sense of blocked creativity

·       Having trouble completing goals

Since 1996 I have helped others, including myself, work on personal development.

My clients range in age from young college graduate students to retirees, from a world champion competitive athlete to someone trying a basic yoga position for the first time. All have one thing in common, their thinking has changed since they started working with me.

I love coaching and one of my passions is to forever change how people think about their lives, especially those in the second half of their lives. I’ve had the honor to witness some amazing transformations.

I talked with many people who spent years convincing themselves that they were content with their lives, but deep down were not truly content. While they achieved tremendous success in wealth and material gain, they wished something could be different. Through the coaching and hypnotherapy process, they discovered what they were looking for.

As the legend goes….

A passerby was admiring Michelangelo’s statue of David.

In awe, he asked Michelangelo, “Sir, I’m curious, how is it possible that you created this sixteen foot tall, this two ton statue of David, and you did it out of a single block of stone?”

Michelangelo responded, “I didn’t actually create the statue of David. I was given a single block of stone. I studied that block for a while. I paid attention to it.  And as I focused on that single block of stone, I saw David stuck within. All I had to do as an artist was chip away the unwanted and to polish the rough edges, and ultimately reveal the magnificence and the beauty that was already inside.”

This story is an excellent analogy of my coaching practice. As your coach, allow me to use my tools to chip away the unwanted or simply help polish the edges. The life you wish to live is in you already.
